Neymar Sports Expensive Watch With Moving Roulette Wheel
Brazilian football star Neymar is recognized for wearing costly jewelry and enjoying luxury casino resorts globally. His newest watch merges both of those pleasures.
Neymar ranks among the wealthiest sports icons globally. The Al Hilal Saudi Football Club is offering the 32-year-old €150 million (US$163 million) annually and has paid a €90 million transfer fee to his previous team, Paris Saint-Germain, from France’s Ligue 1 league.
Considered one of the best players ever, Neymar is famous for his extravagant playing style. That magnificence carries over to his life outside of sports.
During the recent boxing event in Saudi Arabia between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, where the unexpected winner Usyk defeated Fury, Neymar displayed his newest jewelry acquisition — a watch from Jacob & Co. that includes a rotating roulette wheel and a moving pill.
$280,000 Timepiece
While taking pictures, Neymar eagerly showcased his Jacob & Co. watch. Jacob & Co. is a high-end watch manufacturer located in New York City.
The roulette watch worn by Neymar is priced at $280,000. A total of 101 units were produced featuring 18K rose gold accents and “curved anti-reflective sapphire crystals on the dial.”
Neymar adds his name to a long list of celebrities and athletes who are clients of Jacob & Co., such as David and Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez, Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Sofia Vergara, and Sean “Puffy” Combs. Drake, another famous individual who likes the casino, is also a client of Jacob & Co.
Neymar is known for his extravagant expenditures on his favorite pastimes, such as casinos.
A year ago this month, Neymar missed Paris Saint-Germain's title game, citing an injury, to attend the F1 Monaco Grand Prix. During the race, Neymar explored the famous Monte Carlo Casino to participate in a poker tournament. He subsequently shared a video on his Instagram account of himself playing online roulette.
Two months prior to his trip to Monaco, Neymar broadcasted his online casino games, during which he lost over €1 million. Although that would crush many individuals, Neymar was observed chuckling as his losses exceeded seven figures.
Besides roulette, Neymar prefers playing poker at the casino. However, in contrast to his talent on the field, Neymar's performance on the felt is a financially unsuccessful pursuit.
After investing tens of thousands of dollars to participate in various live poker tournaments, the online poker player tracking database The Hendon Mob reveals that Neymar has only $32,131 in live poker winnings.
Neymar achieved his highest placement in 2018 at the R$7,000 (US$1,362) No Limit Hold’em – High Rollers Event in the Brazilian Series of Poker held in Sao Paulo. Neymar placed 6th out of 288 participants, earning $21,072.
Neymar Rumors
While the chances seem slim that Inter Miami can afford to lure Neymar to South Florida, the international icon was seen in late March socializing in Miami with the Beckhams. David Beckham is a part-owner of the Major League Soccer team.
Beckham played a key role in attracting Lionel Messi to Miami last year. Messi, on the other hand, is in the final phase of his career.
Many believe Neymar might move to Miami in the next few years, but his high transfer fee from Al Hilal is likely to keep him in Saudi Arabia until his two-year, €300 million deal ends in 2025.
